About EMPAQ®

EMPAQ® (Employer Measures of Productivity, Absence and Quality™) is set of standardized metrics and benchmarking tools developed by the National Business Group on Health to help employers evaluate the effectiveness of their health and productivity management programs. Metrics and definitions have been developed on the areas of cost, employee satisfaction, productivity, overall quality of life, program efficiency and outcomes.

EMPAQ® also enables employers to participate in meaningful benchmarking and to gain access to decision-support tools. In a complex arena of employer-sponsored healthcare, EMPAQ® provides a common lexicon and platform for consistent and rigorous measurement.

Participate in EMPAQ® by submitting your company's health benefit data through a secure online data submission tool. Visit the Data Submission link on the EMPAQ® homepage to learn more. The National Business Group on Health is collaborating with the University of Michigan Health Management Research Center (UM-HMRC) to administer EMPAQ®'s data collection, analysis, and reporting.
